this is my work of the project "Biography"...

the designer i have to work is Saul Bass.

i use the concept which inspired by his w

ork,

"The man with the golden arm".

The cubes "jengas" signify every work which Saul has done.

intending Saul's creativity is easy to form but his ideas are ambitious.

I made the video after I'd done the jenga.

the video represents Saul was a designer, but worked in film making field.

after the presentation on last Friday,

Ben recommended me to make it clearer.

Ben thought the concept is ambiguous

and the video even the jenga make audience a bit confused about

"what is Saul Bass's style".

Actually, I disagree the obvious concept should be the right way in this video.

it is because as I researched, Saul Bass's style was quite conceptual.

He tried to make thing to signify some ideas.

Just like the "Metaphor".

That's why I chose "jenga" to signify he was a graphic design instead of some obvious visual solution.

I think the worst situation is you know the deadline is coming but you cannot output any idea.

but this time I quite satisfied about my work and process.

That day, Kieron didn't give me any comment after the presentation.

And my classmates didn't feel extraordinary as well. At first I really suspected about my ideas and the performance.

Especially this is the first time I spoke in stammering english and presented in front of the new class. But I think I am not studying the language here and I have to insist my strength...

I believe that, NO WORK IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, AT LEAST YOU ENJOY THE PROCESS AND GIVE THE PASSION ON IT, THEN YOU HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL TO YOUSELF
