this the re-produce video for the Sound's project.
I did this individually in Hong Kong during the christmas holiday.
I enjoy what I have done in the video-shooting, even explore and research stages.
I invite a deaf girl, Connie to be the presenter, via the introduction by a social worker in Hong Kong.
About the concept, I would like to present an audio which is inaudible but visible.
At the first part, Connie introduce Hong Kong. From talking about the Hong Kong actually does not have a open-minded government, and talk about Hong Kong does not exist a free platform where people can speak free. Furthermore, Connie move to the main idea which is talking about the problems between the listeners and speakers. And then she give her opinion on the treatment by the non-deaf people.
The reason I choose this topic to represent a "Sound" project,
is because I believe there should be a sound which cannot be heard but you can sense.
So I choose a deaf to "speak" something start from Hong Kong, into a serious topic of human communicated problem.
the problem is what I have observed for long time ago. Sometimes the speaker and the listener cannot communicate even they speak in the same language. Speaker tries hardly to speak what they want , but always neglects to listen the others. At the same time, someone tries to be mute but never listen honestly. The wrong system against human to communicate the right information.
However, the deaf can observe this circumstance and only she can interpret my idea objectively.
